My daughter sees Mayya regularly for therapy and partakes in her yoga classes for ADHD. I noticed her focus improve and I no longer have to wonder if she should be put on medication. Thanks to Light Heart our diagnoses are not the end all be all and we were able to avoid taking medication for her ADHD, this has been a great alternative to medication. My child loves going to therapy and yoga and I am thrilled with the results.

I joined the mommy and me yoga class and my son and I really love it. We look forward to seeing all our friends and the soothing environment that light heart has to offer. My son’s sleep issues got better after the classes and I am able to be more present and at peace after the class, now signed up for psychotherapy sessions as well and  I am better able to deal with my post partum depression. Its also been a great way to meet other moms in Central New Jersey.

I signed my teenage daughter up for yoga after I saw her struggling with anxiety. She enjoys the classes and has learned all kinds of tips on how to manage her emotions and her moods. Her grades have also improved now that she has a handle on her anxiety as well. The yoga instructor is a professional and has a background in mental health so this is not just regular yoga, this yoga was therapeutic.

Mayya worked with my teenage son, after years of struggling with depression, after seeing many psychotherapists, we finally saw results with Mayya. She did sand play therapy with him, and with each session I saw my son come back to his usual self and become more interested in his life and his future! I am so pleased with her work.

We went to family therapy with hesitation, but Mayya was a great local family therapist who was able to help us navigate through the rough waters of divorce and counseled us on how to transition. She made it easy for us to communicate, something we couldn’t do at home, and my kids felt safe and secure in her care.
